ExploreSport

Multi-Sport's ExploreSport scheme gives children the opportunity to try sports they may not normally have access to.
About Image

The ExploreSport scheme was launched in September 2015 as part of the Multi-Sports Legacy Project, to inspire the younger generation to take up sport and physical activity. It gives young people the chance to discover new sports through an exciting, rewarding and enjoyable environment.

Free to everyone who attends the holiday camps and already included in the program, the scheme offers each child a unique opportunity to try a sport they may not normally have access to - sports which perhaps are not the ‘traditional’ activities at school. By bringing in specialist coaches, our ExploreSport scheme will offer activities such as boxing, dance, swimming, trampolining, table tennis and many more. Multi-Sports also maintain links with these local clubs, providing an outlet for children who wis to take that sport further.

If you are a Sports Club and would like to get involved in the Multi-Sports ExploreSport Scheme then please contact us.

*The swimming is not compulsory – other activities will be available should your child not wish to swim. Please note, this is a ‘fun swim’ not a swimming lesson, your child must be able to swim at least 1 length (10m) without support to take part. Children will be grouped based on ability, with lifeguards and Multi-Sports coaches present and on hand at all times.

*The ‘beach trip’ is not compulsory – other activities will be available should your child wish not to attend. Beach sports such as volleyball, football, tennis, rounder’s, cricket, races and more will take place. During the beach trip the children will not be swimming or entering the sea. The trip to the beach may be cancelled due to poor weather, availability of beach equipment or available of coaches. Multi-Sports will only cancel the trip to the beach for the reason above but withholds the right to do so. Refunds will not be provided if the beach trip is cancelled.
